LOCATION & GENERAL INFORMATION
The farm is located approximately 3 miles northwest of Lima, IL on the bluff near the Hancock/Adams County Line. It is further described as being located in Sections 34 & 35, T3N - R9W, Rocky Run Township, Hancock County, IL. From the south edge of Lima at the junction of Hwy 96 & W. Meyer Road, take West Meyer Road west 2 miles to the bottom road, then turn right/north and proceed approximately 2 miles to the farm.
Along the bluff of the Mississippi River Bottoms, is this beautiful 86.79 acre Hancock County farm. Once you are on the property you will notice the beautiful hardwood ridges and valleys that make this a wonderful recreational farm. Cedar thickets and many south facing slopes have the ability to hold whitetails throughout the year. The 12.5 acre overgrown/fallow field provides excellent big buck habitat. The field could be cleared to farm, or would make for excellent food plot locations. Mature oaks and walnuts would provide timber value if the new owner would decide to have a timber harvest. Electric and Rural water are in close proximity for the new owner to build a home or cabin. A really neat rustic barn would provide ample space for storage or gatherings.
Make plans to walk this property to see all that it has to offer.
